My new hobby: Doing things I'm not good at.

We have access to all sorts of tools to help us communicate. But just because we have access doesn't mean we are good at it. And just because we aren't good at something now doesn't mean we can't get better at it.

I'm pretty good at a few things, but I am NOT a visual thinker. I think in feelings and words.

I can't draw. I make horrible graphics. My videos are the worst.

I may never be hired for my artistic, graphic or video-making skills but that doesn't mean I shouldn't try to get better.

So you guys are going to get to suffer through some experiments.

Here are a few recent graphics:

Am I making some sort of statement about access to communication tools? I don't know. Maybe? I'm pretty sure I'm just having fun making my shitty graphics.

P.S. Here is a video narrated by Ira Glass on the importance of practicing your craft to get better.
