Music: GZA and science

It's so true. Learning is easier when it is set to music or rhyme. I can still sing songs and recite learning rhymes I used in high school (about 20 years ago).

That's why GZA, of the Wu-Tang Clan, is partnering up with Christopher Emdin, a professor from Columbia University, to help high school students create and use raps to learn science. Read more about the project on Rap Genius or catch some of the scientific raps by GZA on Science Talk.

Ol' Dirty Bastard has always been my favorite Wu-Tang Clan member, but GZA has just creeped up as my favorite living Wu-Tang Clan member.

I am looking forward to the release of GZA's science album Dark Matter a little later this year. Until then, check out an older track by GZA (Liquid Swords).
